Bagatelle St.-Tropez, which was set to open April 8, burned down on Thursday night.“Everything was totally destroyed to the core,” says a source, who added the theories as to the culprit range from a rival party place to the French Riviera mafia.“As far as what happened, we don’t know yet, and any of your assumptions is as good as ours but, at this time, we prefer not to lose ourselves in hypotheses that could be a dime a dozen and only distract us from our goal,” the club said on their Facebook page.“Current and past staff have volunteered to fly in and help,” says the source.“The owners Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba are there helping out.”We’re told a full investigation is taking place and the club is looking to rebuild for a June opening.”
